Mark Sweatman is a seasoned geologist currently serving as Vice President Geologist at WSP since January 2023, and as Principal Geologist at Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. since February 2020. Previous roles include Director of the Office of Minerals Management at the Michigan Department of Natural Resources from July 2015 to December 2019, Principal Hydrogeologist at AMEC from January 2010 to June 2015, and President of Insight Environmental Services from March 1995 to December 2006. Mark's career began as a Geologist at NTH from 1983 to 1987, and Mark held the position of Director of Health Safety and Environmental Affairs at American NuKEM from May 1987 to May 1992. Mark earned a Master of Science in geology from Eastern Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science from Fitchburg State University.
