Martha Ly

Martha Ly is an experienced leader in the Earth and Environment sector, currently serving as the Earth & Environment Sector Leader and ESG Mining Leader for WSP en Perú since January 2022, and as the ESG Mining Regional Leader for WSP since May 2024. Martha has held multiple significant positions throughout her career, including Earth & Environment Market Sector Leader at Golder Associates from March 2005 to May 2024, Gerente de Medio ambiente at Wiese Leasing from 2002 to 2004, Subgerente Medio Ambiente at BUENAVENTURA INGENIEROS S.A. from 2000 to 2001, and Gerente de Medio Ambiente y Plant BIOX Tamboraque at Minera Lizandro Proaño from 1997 to 2000. Additional roles include Jefe de Laboratorio Biolixiviación at BIOTECMIN from 1994 to 1997 and Investigadora en Biotecnología Ambiental at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia from 1991 to 1994. Martha holds a Licenciada en Biología with a focus in Biotecnología Ambiental from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (1985 - 1991) and has received further certifications from Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo and Ecole des Mines d'Alès.
