Matthew Rood is currently the Lead Environmental Scientist at WSP, a position held since 2025. They have extensive experience in environmental science and geology, previously serving as a Senior Project Manager at Atlas and a Project Manager at BETA Group, Inc. Matthew's earlier roles include Senior Geologist at AECOM and Project Manager at Environmental Compliance Services, Inc. They earned a B.S. in Geology from Northeastern University and an M.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
