Melissa Bong is a highly experienced engineering professional currently serving as a Principal Engineer and Project Manager at WSP since January 2019, with previous roles including Senior Engineer and Engineer. Prior to WSP, Melissa worked at Carbonix from April 2017 to December 2018 as Operations Manager and Design Engineer, and also contributed as a Research and Development Assistant. Earlier experience includes a summer internship at Jenkins Engineering Defence Systems in early 2016 and a lengthy tenure as a Laboratory Assistant at CPCPath from September 2011 to February 2016. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from UNSW and completed additional studies in Aerospace Engineering at Dalhousie University. Education was completed with a Higher School Certificate from Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College.
