Michael Taylor

Michael Taylor is a seasoned professional in the fields of occupational hygiene and environmental quality, currently serving as a Technical Executive at WSP since January 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Practice Manager and Principal Consultant at Greencap from July 2019 to February 2023, and Owner of Primordia Mushrooms, providing mycology consulting and analytical services from June 2017 to June 2019. Michael's academic background encompasses a lectureship at Flinders University, where responsibilities included directing research and developing educational resources, as well as a Research Fellow role focused on algae-to-energy projects. Earlier experience includes a position as Mycologist at the University of Adelaide and groundskeeping roles in the vineyard sector. Michael holds a PhD in Microbiology and a Bachelor of Biotechnology with Honours, both from Flinders University.
