Michael Zima

Senior Hydrogeologist

Michael Zima is a Senior Hydrogeologist at WSP, responsible for contaminated site investigations and hydrogeological characterizations, with key projects focused on groundwater remediation techniques. Concurrently, Michael serves as an Adjunct Professor at The University of British Columbia, teaching Groundwater Contamination and covering various topics related to contaminant transport and remediation methods. Prior experience includes working as a Hydrogeologist at Golder Associates and holding research and teaching positions at The University of British Columbia, along with a role as a Biogeochemistry Research Assistant at the University of Guelph. Michael Zima holds a Master's degree in Geological Sciences with a focus on Contaminant Hydrogeology from The University of British Columbia and an Honours Bachelor's degree in Earth and Atmospheric Science from the University of Guelph.
