Neftalem Negussie

Neftalem Negussie, P.E., GISP, currently serves as the Lead Drainage Engineer (Assistant Vice President) at WSP, where responsibilities include coordinating with various design disciplines and mentoring staff. Previous experience includes roles as Engineer III at Prince George's County and Water Resources Project Manager at AECOM, managing multiple water resources projects for diverse clients with significant budgets and large teams. Neftalem has also held project management positions at PRIME AE Group, Brudis & Associates, and Stantec, accumulating extensive expertise in water resources engineering and project oversight. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Data Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, along with several graduate certificates and degrees in Coastal Engineering and Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Maryland and Old Dominion University.
