Nicholas Young is a Principal Environmental Scientist at WSP with over 28 years of experience in environmental site assessments, risk assessments, and project management. Throughout their career, Nicholas has specialized in developing and implementing risk management strategies for brownfield and industrial properties, with significant expertise in soil and groundwater remediation, permitting, and technical reviews. They have previously held senior roles at various consulting firms, including Cambium Inc. and Dillon Consulting Limited, and are recognized as a Qualified Person by the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks. Nicholas received a Bachelor's Degree in Honours Earth Sciences and a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
