Peter Hatcher

EVP, Western Canada & Territories at WSP

Peter Hatcher is the EVP of Western Canada & Territories at WSP. Prior to their current position, they served as the President and CEO of PRH Solutions Ltd. from July 2021 to March 2022. Before that, they were the Vice President of Engineering at Fluor Corporation from January 1995 to December 2021.

At Fluor Corporation, Mr. Hatcher led the technology and technical function for a leading global EPC company with diverse business operations to develop and implement the global technology strategy and roadmap. Peter had a focus on leveraging digital / data management strategies; operational excellence; and driving an organization forward with a focus on people, technology and processes. Peter also led automation and software development within technology functions to establish significant value for customers. Mr. Hatcher developed and implemented a world class people development framework in support of building high functioning technology teams that drive innovation and that are positioned to continually improve aligned with future business and customer requirements.

During their time at Fluor Corporation, Mr. Hatcher also served as the Project Technical Executive for the LNG Canada Project in Kitimat, British Columbia. The LNG Canada Project was a joint venture between JGC Fluor BC and Prime Contractor. It was a grassroots fixed price (lump sum) project to design/build a facility terminal for liquefaction, storage and loading of liquefied natural gas (LNG). The project was the largest private capital investment in Canada and amoungst the largest globally, with the lowest carbon footprint of any LNG prodution globally. Peter Hatcher has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Math/Physics from Mount Allison University, with Distinction. Peter also has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Metallurgical Engineering (fatigue, fracture mechanics) from Dalhousie University. In addition, they have a certification from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia in Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), and they are also certified by the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of the Province of Manitoba (APEGM) as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).

They work with Philippe Fortier - Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary, André-Martin Bouchard - Global Director, Environment & Resources, and Chadi Habib - Chief Technology Officer & Head of Business Solutions. Their manager is Alexandre L'heureux, President & CEO.
