Rae Suemul is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in project management and bridge engineering. Beginning a career as a Site Agent at Shetland Islands Council, Rae progressed to roles including Highways Engineer at Warwickshire County Council and Bridge Engineer at Staffordshire County Council, where detailed bridge design was a key responsibility. Rae later served as Resident Engineer at Sandwell MBC, supervising the reconstruction of Holloway Bridge. In subsequent positions at Amey as Senior Project Manager and Major Projects PM, leadership of large multi-disciplinary teams and management of significant projects were highlighted. Rae continued to advance at Atkins as Major Projects Lead and Senior Manager, overseeing a business unit of 45 technical experts, and currently serves as Associate Director at WSP. Education includes a BSc (Hons) in Civil Engineering from Coventry University and an MBA in Business Studies from the Open University.
