Ryan McAlpine

Ryan McAlpine, ENV SP, is a national expert in developing sustainable transportation programs for transit agencies. With a diverse background, Ryan has held key roles at prominent organizations, including the Maryland State Highway Administration, WSP, and the Maryland Transit Administration, where Ryan currently serves as a Program Manager focused on sustainability initiatives. Ryan's extensive knowledge spans agency operations, sustainability policies, and performance management, complemented by a decade of lab bench chemistry research. Holding multiple degrees, including an M.S. from Johns Hopkins University and an MPP from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Ryan is committed to enhancing sustainable practices within public transportation.
