Sean Capstick is an experienced environmental engineer with a career spanning over three decades. Beginning with the Ontario Ministry of the Environment from 1989 to 1998, Sean held various positions, including District Engineer and Special Projects Engineer, contributing to the development of key contaminated sites guidelines and leading improvements in the Air Approvals Program. After serving as an Associate at Golder Associates from 1998 to 2001, managing complex environmental compliance projects, Sean joined WSP in 2006 as a Fellow, providing strategic and regulatory guidance on sustainability and climate change initiatives. Sean is also the leader of WSP’s Global Sustainable Development, Resilience & Climate Change Practice Area Network, driving knowledge sharing and best practices in environmental sustainability. Sean holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
