Sofia Nyholm

Sofia Nyholm is an accomplished professional in environmental management and sustainability, currently serving as the Director of Health & Safety, Environment, and Quality for WSP Nordics since January 2014. Sofia has held multiple leadership roles within WSP Sweden, including Head of Sustainability and Head of Corporate Sustainability. Prior experience includes serving as an Environmental Planner and Expert at Trafikverket, where responsibilities encompassed long-term infrastructure planning and environmental oversight. Sofia began her career with positions such as Trainee Environmental Monitor at Länsstyrelsen i Hallands län, Supervisor at Halmstad University, Laboratory Technician at Stora Enso, and Environmental and Health Inspector at Halmstads kommun. Sofia holds a Master of Science in Environmental Risk Analysis from Linnaeus University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management from Halmstad University.
