Stephen Buckley is a chartered engineer and the Head of Fire at WSP, where they have led the Fire Engineering team in the Middle East region since 2025. With nearly 20 years of experience in Fire Engineering and Building Control, they previously held key roles at Hoare Lea as a Partner and Director of Fire Safety. Stephen’s expertise spans all building sectors, including new builds and refurbishments, and they maintain a strong focus on fire safety, evacuation modeling, and CFD. Prior to their current positions, they worked with Tenos Ltd, Warrington Fire Research, and various local councils in building control roles.
