Tony Brown is a Chartered Civil Engineer with 39 years of experience specializing in the investigation and remediation of contaminated land and waste assessment. Currently the Head of Profession in WSP's Ground & Water division, Tony has acted as Project Manager for numerous complex brownfield sites, including significant gasworks projects in the UK and Ireland. Tony has also served as an Expert Witness in the High Court for illegal landfilling cases and has contributed to the field through presentations and technical papers on brownfield regeneration. A 2004 recipient of The Fleming Award for Excellence in Geotechnical Engineering Design and Construction, Tony also holds multiple professional accreditations, including Specialist in Land Condition (SiLC).
