Wes Edwards

Wes Edwards serves as the Senior Vice President of Transportation Planning for New England at WSP since February 2025. Prior to this role, Wes held various positions at the MBTA from December 2017 to February 2025, including Deputy Chief of Operations Planning, Scheduling, & Strategy, Acting Chief of Operations Planning, and Assistant General Manager of Service Development, where responsibilities included fostering relationships with external entities to enhance transit services. Earlier in the career, Wes worked as a Special Project Manager at King County Metro Transit from 2015 to 2017, leading the public engagement process for a 25-year transit expansion plan, and as a Transportation Planner for King County, WA from 2005 to 2015, coordinating with multiple agency divisions. Wes holds a Master of Public Administration and a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Washington, both earned between 2005 and 2008.
