Will Preston is an accomplished operations and technical director with extensive experience in the rail and civil engineering sectors. Currently serving as Operations Director at WSP since July 2020, Will has previously held significant roles at Atkins from April 2007 to July 2020, including GDC Interface Lead for the UK and Europe, and Client Manager for the Network Rail Client Team. Will's expertise encompasses project management, key account management, and cross-division collaboration, overseeing multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects valued from £50k to over £5m. Prior to Atkins, Will worked as a Group Manager and Senior Engineer at Mott MacDonald and began as a Bridge Engineer. Will holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from The University of Sheffield, earned between 1997 and 2001.
