Chris Farber has extensive experience in the aviation industry, currently serving as a Power Plant instructor at WSU Tech since September 2020. Prior to this role, Chris worked at Bombardier from August 1987 to March 2021, holding various positions including Technical Lead for CRJ Evolution, Lead Analyst for new aircraft designs, A&P Technician for maintenance of used aircraft, and Field Service Representative providing technical support. Chris also taught as a part-time Airframe 1 instructor at Wichita Area Technical College from August 2016 to September 2020. Early career experience includes working as a Line Service Technician at United Beechcraft from 1984 to 1987. Chris holds multiple certifications including AMT certification and a degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration.
