Womens Tennis Association Sports Physiotherapist

Kate Watson, PhD, is a highly qualified and experienced sports and exercise physiotherapist with a focus on elite athletic performance. Having completed a PhD in 2014 and holding various physiotherapy degrees, Kate currently serves as the Deputy Lead Physiotherapist for the Australian Olympic Team at the 2024 Paris Games and works with the WTA as a sports physiotherapist since 2010. Previous roles include significant contributions to Paralympics Australia and Cricket Australia, as well as acting positions at the Australian Institute of Sport. Additionally, Kate has provided physiotherapy services for numerous Commonwealth Games and has a history of consultancy and sports coverage across various athletic disciplines.
