Phillip Tanner is an accomplished television producer with extensive experience in various roles in the industry. Currently serving as Executive and Series Producer at WTFN since May 2021, Tanner has worked on the transformative series SPACE INVADERS, leading Seasons 3 and 4. Prior to this, Tanner held the position of Senior Post Producer on the Discovery series Sydney Harbour Force. Experience also includes Series Producer roles for notable shows such as CRIKEY! IT'S THE IRWINS at Eureka Productions, and the Logie Award-winning THE LIVING ROOM and Bondi Vet at WTFN. Tanner's career began at Media Farm as a Producer/Director and includes projects featuring prominent figures and high-profile actors, showcasing a versatile skill set in television production and direction.

During the past decade WTFN has emerged as one of Australia’s most creative and prolific independent content producers. We’ve built a worldwide reputation for compelling story-telling that engages broadcast and online audiences with programs such Bondi Vet, The Living Room, Tony Robinson’s Time Walks and the Logie-winning documentary “Trishna and Krishna: The Quest for Separate Lives”. Recently WTFN has expanded to include boutique distributor “Fred” and drama and feature film production house “The Film Company”. WTFN offers broadcasters in Australia and abroad the opportunity to work with us on projects in the branded, factual, light entertainment and scripted genres. We are focused on delivering our clients affordable quality content that they can rely on. Our catalogue includes more than 40 original programs and formats that have been converted into high-rating returnable series. Our Story: Producers Daryl Talbot and Steve Oemcke, aided by corporate financier Frank Dunphy, started WTFN in 2001. Our strategy of targeted program development coupled with unique funding models has been the key to developing WTFN into the production power-house it is today. We have a dedicated team of more than 100 people including producers, researchers, writers, camera crews, editors, graphic designers and on-air talent. WTFN has High Definition production facilities in Melbourne and Sydney, as well as bureaux in the US and UK. We have a global view of content. This has led to the formation of our boutique distribution business “Fred” and the recent acquisition of highly-regarded drama and feature film producer “The Film Company” led by multi award-winning producer Richard Keddie. Every day we strive to make compelling content that resonates with audiences by focussing on strong storytelling and engaging characters.
