Robert Barnett is a seasoned broadcast operations manager and director currently serving at WTOC-TV since April 2021. Robert has extensive experience in the film and video production industry, having co-owned and managed Kearney Street Films since November 2010, where responsibilities include financial management and day-to-day operations. Prior roles include broadcast director at KCNC | CBS Denver and contracted photographer at AuroraTV, alongside freelance videography work. Education includes an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from The Art Institutes and attendance at the Colorado Film School for Writing/Directing.

WTOC-TV signed on the air February 14, 1954, the very first television station in Savannah, Georgia. WTOC has been a CBS affiliate from day one. It is the number one station in Savannah, not only in sign-on date, but in viewers and community involvement. WTOC televises and live streams a total of 6.6 hours of live local news daily, considerably more than any other local media outlet, and well above the expectation for a station in the 89th television market.
