Miriam Lerner is a fourth-year undergraduate studying Engineering Physics at Tulane University, with a minor in mechanical engineering. Passionate about the intersection of technology, ethics, and policy, they focus on applications in the semiconductor, biomedical, and clean energy industries. Miriam has held various leadership roles in engineering organizations, including serving as President of the Tulane Society of Women Engineers, where they organized outreach events and professional panels. Currently, Miriam is involved as a Tech Director for WTUL New Orleans 91.5 FM and as a Makerspace Fabrication Technician, while also contributing to undergraduate research in the Escarra Lab.
