Tony Reese has a diverse background in both culinary and broadcast journalism. Beginning a career in the food industry as a Grill Cook at Ruby Tuesday from May 2016 to May 2017, Tony transitioned to a team member role at Chick-fil-A from December 2017 to December 2018, where responsibilities included cashier duties and assisting with drive-thru operations. Tony then pursued a degree in Broadcast Journalism at Troy University, graduating in 2019. Following this education, Tony gained experience as a Producer and Multimedia Journalist at WJHG-TV from December 2020 to August 2022, before taking on roles as Sports Anchor, Sports Director, and Producer at WTVM News Leader 9 from August 2022 to August 2024.
