Beyla Walker

Beyla Walker is an accomplished broadcast journalist currently serving as an Anchor/MMJ at WTVY News 4 since June 2023. Walker participated in the 2023 CBC-UNC Diversity Fellowship Program, an intensive workshop designed for top journalism students. Prior experience includes a role as News Anchor/MMJ/Live Shot Reporter at FAMU TV-20, where Walker reported on diverse news topics for North Florida audiences. A News Intern at 11Alive, Walker gathered and produced digital stories and collaborated on multimedia segments. Additional experience encompasses editorial roles at The Link Entertainment and Journey Magazine, along with a position as Media Specialist at Black News Channel. Walker earned a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Florida A&M University in May 2023.
