Bert Schmelzer

Bert Schmelzer is an experienced professional in architecture and project management, currently serving as a Director at Wüest Partner since February 2021, after roles as a Manager and Senior Consultant. As the owner of Schmelzer Gliding Books since September 2013, Bert has demonstrated entrepreneurial skills alongside a strong architectural background. Previous positions include Eng. Architect at Jean F. Weber Architects, Nil Hürzeler Architects, LOW architecten, JDS Architects, PLUS Office Architects, and BRT Architekten LLP, focusing on project management, design development, and construction documentation. Bert holds a Master's degree in Engineering - Architecture from KU Leuven and has further studies at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
