Roman Strobl has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Roman has worked as a SW Developer for Wultra, s.r.o. since 2017, focusing on the development of the open-source project PowerAuth. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Developer and Consultant for their own company, Roman Strobl, from 2010 to 2020. In 2014, they worked as a Java Developer and Consultant for Ariton s.r.o., where they contributed to the development of the FinLink regulatory reporting tool. Additionally, they served as an External Lecturer at Czech Technical University in Prague from 2014 to 2016, teaching courses on automated testing of software. Roman also gained experience as a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer at AVAST Software, where they tested data quality in large databases and led a team. Roman worked as a Principal Quality Assurance Engineer at CA Technologies from 2012 to 2013 and as a Quality Assurance Engineer from 2010 to 2011, with a focus on creating and supporting QA automation frameworks for the mainframe business unit. Earlier in their career, Roman worked as a Technology Evangelist for JetBrains and Sun Microsystems. Roman started their career as a PHP Developer and Project Manager at ZOOM International.

Roman Strobl attended the Czech Technical University in Prague from 1998 to 2004, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. From 2010 to 2013, they pursued a Master's degree in Software Engineering at the Faculty of Information Technology at the same university, earning the degree of Ing. (MSc. equivalent). In 2014, they obtained a certification in Introduction to Data Science from Coursera.
