Founded in 1954, the Wits University Mining Engineers Association (WUMEA) is a global network of Wits Mining Engineering alumni and associates dedicated to advancing the mining profession and contributing to sustainable mineral and economic development. As a non-profit organization, WUMEA fosters collaboration, mentorship, and lifelong connections among its members while supporting student development at Wits University.
