Michael J. Bender

Michael J. Bender is the CEO of Kohl’s, responsible for driving the company's growth and strategic direction while overseeing a large retail operation. They have over 30 years of senior leadership experience across major retail and consumer brands, including Walmart, Victoria’s Secret, and Eyemart Express, where they served as President and CEO from 2018 to 2022. Bender held executive positions at Walmart, including Chief Operating Officer of Global eCommerce, and began their career at PepsiCo. Additionally, Bender is actively involved on various boards, including Acuity Brands and Wawa, Inc., and serves as a Senior Advisor at Simon-Kucher. They hold a BA from Stanford University and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
