Michael Lenau

Michael Lenau is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in operations and controls engineering across various industries, including industrial plants, process manufacturing, and transportation. Currently serving as the Business Unit Manager at Wunderlich-Malec since January 2023, Michael oversees P&L and business strategy while actively engaging in industry organizations. Prior roles include Operations Manager at Wunderlich-Malec Engineering, President and Lead Engineer at C&L Automation, and Controls Engineer at M.C. Dean, where Michael developed expertise in PLC programming, HMI development, and system design. Michael’s background also includes significant contributions to a $100MM Hydrogen facility project in Canada during tenure at Air Products. Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware.
