Will Shaffer

Will Shaffer has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Will is currently working as a Senior Counsel for Data Privacy & Strategy at Wurl since July 2022. Prior to that, from August 2021 to July 2022, they worked as a Senior Counsel for Commercial at Citrix.

Between 2014 and 2021, Will held multiple positions at Oracle, including Corporate Counsel from June 2021 to August 2021, Counsel from January 2018 to June 2021, Senior Deal Strategy Manager at Oracle Data Cloud from June 2015 to January 2018, Team Lead for M&A Subscriptions from March 2015 to June 2015, and Cloud Deal Manager for M&A from May 2014 to March 2015.

Before Oracle, they worked as a Research Attorney at The State Bar of California from June 2013 to April 2014, and as a Contract Administrator at Facebook from January 2012 to April 2013. Will also served as a Legal Assistant at Law Offices of Joshua A. Ridless from March 2011 to March 2012, and as an Intern at Scherer Smith & Kenny LLP from May 2010 to August 2010.

Will began their career with internships, including a role as a Judicial Intern at Santa Clara County Superior Court from June 2009 to August 2009, and as a Coordinator for Student Interns at the District Attorney's Office from March 2006 to May 2007. Will also worked as a Community Outreach Assistant at the Sports and Entertainment Commission from June 2005 to September 2005.

Will Shaffer's education history includes obtaining a B.A. degree in Political Science and English with a double major from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Will attended this university from 2002 to 2007. Later, they pursued a J.D. degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law from 2008 to 2011.
