Julio Ochoa

Julio Ochoa is the current Health News Florida Editor at WUSF Public Media. Julio has previously worked as the Deputy Metro Editor at The Tampa Tribune and as the Editor of Hernando Today. Julio is experienced in managing staff and content creation, developing story ideas, and editing stories for grammar, style, and substance. Julio has also served as the face of The Tampa Tribune, engaging government, business, and community leaders in conversations about Hernando County issues.

Julio Ochoa holds a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Florida State University.
