Scott Nolan is the Development Director at WUSF Public Media. Scott has held this position since August 2011. Prior to that, they were the Director of Development at Columbia Museum of Art from January 2002 to August 2011. In this role, they directed all fundraising designed to increase individual and institutional support for the Columbia Museum of Art. Scott also managed a five-person development team responsible for all fundraising from individual and institutional donors to support the museum’s $3.5 million annual operating budget.

In 2010, Scott launched a Legacy Society to solicit planned gifts and grew the giving group to 21 members strong. Despite the difficult economy, fundraising for private support remained strong across fundraising areas, and membership increased 50% in three years.

Scott has a proven track record of success in fundraising and management. Scott is a strategic thinker with a passion for public media and its potential to make a positive impact on the community.

Scott Nolan has a Masters Degree in Theirtory from American University and a Bachelor's degree in Theirtory and Management from Eckerd College.

They are on a team with Scot Kaufman - Media Sales Manager, Dinorah Prevost - Producer, Florida Matters, and Mary Shedden - News Director. Scott Nolan reports to JoAnn Urofsky, General Manager.
