Jonathan Baeckstrom

Jonathan Baeckstrom is a seasoned entertainment professional with a robust career at WWE since 2013, currently serving as VP and Lead Writer for Monday Night RAW, where leadership of a 15-member storytelling team has resulted in record-setting revenue growth and the introduction of beloved new characters. Previously, Jonathan launched and wrote for 205 Live, establishing it as WWE Network’s longest-running exclusive show, and contributed to multiple flagship programs such as SmackDown and NXT. Earlier experience includes internships at Joanne Horowitz & Strong Management and Gurney Productions, where Jonathan honed scriptwriting and film production skills. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts & Letters in Film, Television, and Theater from the University of Notre Dame.
