Cem Sekmen is an experienced data professional currently serving as a Principal Data Engineer at WWK Lebensversicherung a. G. since December 2022. Previously, Cem worked as a Data Engineer at HSE Home Shopping Europe GmbH from April 2020 to November 2022, where a significant project involved the migration of a data warehouse from Oracle to Snowflake on AWS. Cem also held the role of Data Scientist at Shift Technology from March 2019 to February 2020 and served both as a Data Engineer and Data Warehouse Developer at Telefónica Germany between October 2012 and March 2019. Cem holds a Diplom in Informatik from the Technical University of Munich, completed in September 2011.
