NEXT.cc is an eLearning DESIGNopedia  that develops ethical imagination and environmental stewardship. NEXT.cc introduces what design is, what design does, and why design is important with online journeys that take users out into their communities. People of all ages informally explore TOOLS used to investigate, interact and contribute ideas to the world. LANGUAGE journeys introduce vocabulary and sets of ideas about topics that integrate traditional subjects. DISCOVERY journeys reveal how culture, technology, economy and environment shape design responses. DESIGN journeys offer opportunities for young imaginations to speculate, propose and evaluate ideas in their school classroom, on the school campus and out in the school community.  

NEXT.cc's activities introduce systems thinking connecting ideas across nine scales- nano, pattern, object, space, architecture, neighborhood, urban, region, and world. Set to North American Association for Environmental Education, Art & Design and NEXT Generation Science Standards, NEXT.cc supports teachers and students in motivational place based project learning.  NEXT.cc 's 250+ journeys with over 1000 place based activities topically  integrate 10,000  museums, institutions and contemporary practices. NEXT.cc plans to reach 50 million third grade through twelfth grade students, their teachers and their families with meaningful learning experiences that create positive influence on lives.

NEXT.cc is recognized as a NEEF  National Environmental Education Foundation Green STEM Innovator, a USGBC United States Green Building Council Green Excellent Building Educator, NEA National Endowment for the Arts Design Education Innovator, and Union of International Architects Media Design Educator for Architecture.
