Kimmo Karppelin

Kimmo Karppelin is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in project supervision and management. Currently serving as a Senior Resident Engineer at WYG International since June 2012, Kimmo oversees a significant road rehabilitation project that includes 240 km of highway, 54 bridges, and various infrastructure components, with a budget of 740 million euros. As Chief of Supervision for Utilities at Activiti Consulting Ltd since 1993, Kimmo has also held the role of Chief Resident Engineer/Senior Highway Engineer at Renardet S.A. in Switzerland from January 2006 to November 2008, where oversight of the East-West Corridor motorway project in India was managed, involving a budget of approximately $1 billion across multiple contractors. Kimmo holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering specializing in Roads and Waterways from Tampere University of Technology.
