Matt Bush has extensive experience in the field of journalism. Matt currently serves as the News Director at WYPR, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they held the same role at Blue Ridge Public Radio from 2016 to 2022. Matt's career in news reporting started in 2004 when they became the News Bureau Chief at Metro Networks. Matt then worked as a News Reporter at 630 WMAL from 2006 to 2008, before joining WAMU 88.5 as a News Reporter from 2008 to 2016. Throughout their career, Matt has gained valuable expertise and skills in the field of journalism.
Matt Bush obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcasting from Point Park University. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Media Entrepreneurship at American University from 2014 to 2016.
