Bart Acke

Bart Acke is a seasoned professional in network build and engineering, currently serving as VP Network Build & Mass Roll-out at Wyre since July 2023. Prior to joining Wyre, Bart held various significant roles at Telenet from August 2007 to July 2023, including VP Network Build & Field Services, Director Access & Capacity, and VP Engineering (Ad Interim), where responsibilities encompassed overseeing both fixed and mobile network teams, capacity evolution, and technology strategy. Bart’s career began at Excentis as Team Leader for Broadband Access, contributing to the EuroDOCSIS certification program, and earlier worked as an assistant at Ghent University, playing a role in developing the EuroDOCSIS specification. Bart holds a degree in Electronics from Ghent University and an Industrial Engineering degree from HOGENT.
