Ryan Clawson

Ryan Clawson is a highly skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in hypersonic systems and project management. Currently serving as a Hypersonic Project Engineer and IPT Lead at X-Bow Systems Inc. since November 2023, Ryan previously held various significant roles at Northrop Grumman from January 2015 to October 2023, including Hypersonic Project Manager and Systems Engineer. Notable accomplishments include managing a multi-million dollar missile program and acting as Co-Chair for the Tool and Gage Committee across multiple production plants. Early experience includes engineering internships at Rio Tinto and Juniper Systems, and foundational roles at Utah State University. Ryan holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and Utah State University, respectively.
