Alan Young

Alan Young has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Alan began their career in 2001 as a Dental Systems Integrator and Regional Account Manager at Computek Dental Systems. In this role, they proposed, sold and serviced computer hardware for dentists, orthodontists and oral surgeons, and successfully built new territory with 100+ dedicated clients. Alan also provided technical leadership, designing new technology networks and troubleshooting solutions for network systems, desktops, back-up systems and security.

In 2005, Alan joined PACT-ONE Solutions, Inc. as a Technical Account Manager and Dental Systems Integrator. Alan combined sales, customer relationship management, and technical acumen to design and support custom technology solutions for medium and small size healthcare companies. Alan also managed the planning and implementation of new network installations, and system upgrades, along with troubleshooting and resolving issues.

In 2007, Alan began working as a Field Service Engineer at Envista Holdings Corporation. In this role, they delivered exemplary standards of proactive customer centric support to independent and major accounts, and performed complex technical duties pertaining to KaVoKerr imaging products, expertly resolving escalated product issues. Alan also contributed to product development of x-ray systems, specifically in the areas of patient data protection and enterprise implementations.

In 2020, Alan joined Lumenis as a Customer Field Engineer. In this role, they installed and maintained medical grade lasers in the Western United states for clients including urology surgical departments for regional hospitals, dermatology practices and aesthetic medical spas.

Currently, Alan works as a Technical Services Engineer at X-Nav Technologies, LLC and as a Field Services Engineer at Boston Scientific.

Alan Young obtained their Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Portland State University between 1996 and 1998, with a focus on Organizational Development. Prior to that, they earned a B.S. in Physical Science from California State University, Chico from 1989 to 1992.
