Phil McKee has worked in various roles since 2009. Phil began as a Physics Teaching Assistant and Note Taker at Rochester Institute of Technology in 2009. In 2011, they became an R&D Intern at Dräger, where they applied their skills in Excel to develop faster ways of sorting through RoHS material compliance information in a database. In 2012, they worked as a Mechanics Intern at Dräger, where they used their proficient SolidWorks experience extensively on heating plates, designing the sealing ring around the plate, creating a molded plastic air filtration assembly, and other various design tasks. In 2014, they joined X-Nav Technologies, LLC as a Product Manager and Mechanical Engineer. Phil developed an optically-driven dynamic 3D navigation system, the X-Guide, for the dental industry to allow exact placement of an implant's position, depth, and angle. Phil'ssuccessful development of the X-Guide navigation system has been used in 40+ countries with 150,000+ dental implants navigated (Sept 30th, 2020). Phil also has broad experience in the creation of other related products.
Phil McKee received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology between 2009 and 2013.
