Azfar B. Anwar

Azfar B. Anwar is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in trust and safety, regulatory compliance, and incident management, currently serving as a Senior Legal Associate at Twitter since May 2020. Previously, Azfar held the position of AI/ML Analytic Linguist at Google, focusing on technology operations and linguistic expertise for machine learning projects. Azfar's career also includes roles as a History & Language Instructor at the University of Oxford and as President of the Student Union at St Antony's College, where Azfar championed diversity and accessibility in education. Earlier experience includes serving as an Executive at the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore and working as an Embassy Translator for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore.
