Matthew S. is the Global Head of Legal Takedowns and Intellectual Property at X, where they lead a team of over 130 legal professionals focused on operational workflows, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property enforcement. They previously served as Program Manager for Regulatory and Privacy Compliance at Meta, developing programs to align with global regulatory standards. With a background as an Intelligence Officer in the Air Force Reserves and over eight years of active duty service, Matthew specializes in targeting affairs and has significant experience in collaboration with senior Department of Defense leaders. Matthew holds a Master of Arts in Intelligence Studies and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
