Niamh McDade

Niamh McDade currently serves as the Head of Government Affairs for the UK and Ireland at Company X since February 2024. Prior to this role, Niamh was the Deputy Head of UK Public Policy at Twitter from July 2020 to April 2024. Niamh's experience includes working as a Senior Campaigns and Communications Executive at the Royal Society for Public Health between November 2017 and July 2020, and as a Healthcare Biotechnology Assistant at EuropaBio from January 2017 to September 2017. Niamh also held the position of Specialist Services Commissioning Officer at the Health and Social Care Board NI for a brief period in late 2016. Earlier roles include social researcher at Social Market Research from January 2011 to August 2016, and Assistant Assembly Clerk at the Northern Ireland Assembly from September 2015 to June 2016. Niamh's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from Lund University, a Master’s Degree in Legislative Studies and Practice, and a Bachelor's Degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Queen's University Belfast.
