Alan Taub

Alan Taub is an accomplished academic and industry leader currently serving as the Director of the Electric Vehicle Center and a Professor in Materials Science & Engineering and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan. Taub also holds the position of Director of the Michigan Materials Research Institute. With extensive advisory roles at various companies, including X2F, Master Fluid Solutions, Bocar Group, AutoTech Ventures, and C2A Security, Taub contributes significant expertise in the automotive sector. Previously, Taub was a Vice President and Executive Director of Global R&D at General Motors. Taub earned a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Harvard University and a Sc.B. in Engineering from Brown University.
