Graeme Smith

Graeme Smith has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Graeme currently serves as the Group IT Director at Xaar since August 2020. Prior to that, they worked at NOVO IT Services Ltd as a Principal Consultant from November 2014 to August 2020. Further, they have held roles such as the COVID-19 Technology Remediation Programme Manager at MTI from May 2020 to July 2020, Smart Village Services Programme Manager at VALUE RETAIL PLC from February 2019 to May 2020, and Brand and Guest Services Programme Manager, as well as BI and Decision Support Programme Manager at Hitachi Consulting from January 2016 to February 2019. Graeme also worked as a Mobility and Smart Infrastructure Programme Manager at Information Management Group (IMGROUP) from November 2014 to January 2016. In 2014, they were the Head of Infrastructure Solutions at Liberata following the acquisition of Trinity Expert Systems. Their career started in 1992 with various employers in earlier roles before they became a Programme Director/Manager and subsequently the Head of Professional Services Group at Trinity Expert Systems from 2001 to 2013. Throughout their career, Graeme has demonstrated leadership, project management, and strategic abilities in ensuring successful technology transformation and delivering solutions and services to clients.

Graeme Smith completed their education at The University of Huddersfield from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy Studies. Prior to that, from 1982 to 1989, they attended Cottingham High School, where they earned 4 'A' Levels and 8 'O' Level/GCSE's. In addition to their formal education, Graeme also obtained a certification in Managing Successful Programmes - MSP Practitioner from APMG-International in October 2014.
