Marv Evans

Marv Evans has extensive experience in technology management and leadership, currently serving as President of Xactec since January 2006, where the company has been executing customer visions in Virginia since 1991. Prior to this role, Marv worked as Information Services Manager at ColonialWebb Contractors from June 1997 to January 2006, overseeing technology planning and support during significant company growth. Marv's earlier experience includes serving as Manager of Technology Services at the Virginia Department of Taxation, where initiatives included establishing the agency's online presence. Marv's career began with the U.S. Coast Guard, holding positions as a General Duty Officer and Electronics Technician, spanning over two decades. Marv holds multiple degrees, including an MS in Computer Science and an MS in Management from American University and Troy University, respectively, as well as a BS in Computer Science and a BS in Political Science.
