Michael Boswell is an experienced product design professional currently working at xAI since 2025. Prior to this role, Michael served as Product Director at Discord from 2023 to 2025, leading core product and venture teams. As the CEO and Founder of Cue from 2016 to 2022, Michael successfully led product and design efforts through the company's acquisition by Reddit. Earlier experiences include being the first hire and design lead at Meta's Design Systems organization in 2015-2016, and serving as Design Lead at Coatue Management (2013-2015) for its investment technology product, Mosaic. Michael's career also includes a design lead position at Google, where work focused on the Profiles, Pages, and Platform teams from 2012 to 2013, as well as leading product and design initiatives on new products at Webs from 2009 to 2012 before its acquisition by Vistaprint. Michael holds a B.F.A. in Art & Visual Technology from George Mason University.
