Yang Yang

Yang Yang is a skilled software engineer with a robust background in AI and machine learning, currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at xAI since September 2025, focusing on Agentic AI Infra. Prior to this position, Yang held a role as Staff Software Engineer at DoorDash, leading the AI Platform. Yang's extensive experience at Google as a Tech Lead Manager involved overseeing LLM evaluation, finetuning, and the Vertex AI AutoML Tables and Time Series Forecasting initiatives. Furthermore, Yang contributed to the Presto team at Facebook and gained experience through internships at Microsoft and Intel, as well as developing Android applications at New Horizon Digital Technology. Yang earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Technology from Tsinghua University and a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Northwestern University.
