Lars Oleson

CEO & Co-Founder at Xailient

Lars Oleson has held various roles in the technology industry since 2009. In 2008, they took a sabbatical and traveled. From 2009 to 2010, they were a Software Architect and Strategy Consultant for a consultancy, where they designed software architecture, organization structure, and execution process for revenue maximization, authored outsource and offshore strategies, and optimized quality process to market needs. From 2010 to 2013, they were the Executive Director of Product Engineering for iolo technologies, LLC. From 2013 to 2017, they were the Chief Product Officer for Alipay, where they led all aspects of e-money product post acquisition by Dana (Alipay-Emtek) including teams in Indonesia and China, and was responsible for product strategy, design, engineering, partner integration, and uptime. During this time, they also acted as an Angel Investor for Silicon Globe, LLC, and as a Consulting CTO for a consultancy, where they designed and delivered transformative business change for profit growth, developed ecommerce business plan for a large brick-and-mortar Indonesian conglomerate, and architected supply web overhaul for a traditional manufacturing company. From 2013 to 2018, they were the CEO and COO of Ice House, a global mobile development firm which applies breakthrough technology, engineering excellence, and customer insight to design and build innovative user experiences. From 2018 to 2019, they were an Advisor for Moroku - Making Banking Fun, where they led customer success throughout the lifecycle, including product, pre- and post-sales. Since 2019, they have been the CEO and Co-Founder of Xailient, a company which lowers the costs and improves the performance of computer vision with software that optimizes the processing of AI across devices, from camera to cloud, and they have also been an Entrepreneur for Antler, a global startup generator and venture capital company.

Lars Oleson attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1996 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
